Hello mates,
I've been using the useful information from this website & forum for a long time without registering...
So firstly I'd like to thank you all guys for everything you've done here.
I'm planning on buying a DVD recorder or HDD player/recorder but I've got a quick question...
Can I control the device remotely? I mean managing the recordings from my PC, for example.
The thing is that it won't be at my place and I only have [remote] access to the PC there. But nobody to press the "Record" button.
So I was wandering if there is some software coming with any of the recorders for management via PC?
Thank you in advance!
Regards,
Lupo

Possibly, with some sort of infrared extender operated by the PC. You would need the IR codes for the device to be controlled. But it might be simpler to use the PC itself to do the recording.
