I recorded our holiday on long play on the above handycam when we got back the camera wont read the disc so i tryed playing it on my acer aspire 5315 but it plays at high speed with no sound I was wondering if some one could help so I can copy it to a dvd for normal playback to show friends. Windows media player is having trouble playing it at all.
any help would be appreciated James

  2. I use mpeg2cut2 to trim and remux VRO (from a Panasonic DVD recorder) into MPG files. From there you can probably import into whatever DVD authoring software you use.
