When I´m trying to convert my SVCD to XVCD the picture is getting jagged edges around objects that is in motion, almost like lines over it.
I´m using TMPGEnc whith a xvcd templatel and it seems that I´m losing a whole lot of quality in this conversion.
Please, what am I doing wrong?

The jagged lines sound exactly like interlacing artifacts.
If you force an interlaced film into a progressive file without doing some sort of de-interlace then this is the effect you get.
Check your de-interlace settings and try again.

You need to deinterlace if you are creating a VCD with mpeg1 (as interlacing is only supported by mpeg2).
