    Morning,

    I have captured video from my DV camcorder and have this on my computer in .avi format. I am trying to compress this to put on the web.

    The idea is to have a small video clip of about 1m 30s to 2m with video and sound on a website. When I compress this from its original size the smallest I can get it down to is about 7MB, but would like it to be no larger than say 1MB.

    How do I do this?

    That's the only way youll get it below 1 meg and keep it at the size you want. Otherwise, make your vid 120 pixles wide (yeah, so you need glasses to watch it) and keep the sound as well.
