    Used avidemux 2.5 It wouldn't save as an mkv file. Tried output as avi. Doesn't even play at all. Followed instructions given on this site on how to use this program.


    This mkv file that i have has 2 audio streams. One is in turkish one in english. When selecting audio i seen one is actually in DTS format which is odd since i can hear both streams and i do not have dts on my pc.



    Just need to split the file into half. Nothing more.

    nope. use vdub in direct stream copy mode, or avidemux in copy mode
