Is there an online tutorial for setting up a secure private P2P transfer using Vuze? I run a film festival and would like to take submissions online through Vuze without risk of outside parties downloading the films.

P2P loses its distributed source advantage when the transfer is private, i.e. one sender, one recipient.

Set up a secure FTP server (no anonymous logins), only allow uploads with a user name and password that you provide via email to the submitter. No downloads allowed except for your account.

That does sound like a better option. Turns out I have 150 gigs on my hosting account.

Darn - GoDaddy allows adding more FTP accounts, but you can't configure them for upload only. This means I would have to give each film maker their own FTP account. A major pain.

If you can setup one FTP account as upload only, you can give the same username / password to all your submitters.

If your hosting provider can't handle it, check with your ISP. Many of them offer website / ftp space free with your account. They might use different software that will allow upload only accounts.
