I have spent a gread deal of hours trying to figure out a conversion tool and using the correct parameters to encode a TV recording so that I do not get sync issues.
I record TV shows using Windows Media Center and a Pinnacle analog TV USB stick.
The resulting dvr-ms is in sync and looks good. But when I try to convert it to something smaller the audio goes out of sync. This it probably due to a crappy recording. It happens in all recordings though.
I have posted a test recording so I dare someone to try and convert it with the audio in sync.
I use a command line conversion tool as I want the conversion to be scheduled. I use mencoder but I can use any other conversion tool.
I prefear encoding in Mpeg4 AVS and AVI or MP4 container but this is not the issue here as ALL types of my conversions are out of sync.
I also prefer 480x320, 640x480 format or original.
Go ahead and try converting my test file.

If you succed in converting this recording and there is no sync please post mencoder command!
