Well, if I try to convert this file it takes foorever with TMPGE. So i've tried to put it into virtualdub and extract a wav file. But I get this error message after it load the file, "couldn't locate decompressor for format WMV2 (unknown)" I have no idea what this means. I used virtualdub 1.3c
with the SMR codec installed properly and various other ones. Some other WMV's I have load fine, but some of them say this as well, I've downloaded them from the net.

Now, in TMPGE if I click on Video only, and convert that, it will do just fine, and convert, but when I click on audio only, it will take forever, like a week or so it says, so I figure its an Audio related problem. I would like to have sound but if I cannot well then oh well.

I have used ASFtools and tried to repair, but still same thing, I have tried to convert to .AVI format, but then it says the same thing but some other things as well.. just makes it worse.. so thats a no go, I don't know what else to do so If you can help me i'd appreciate it. Thanks.
