Hey people. I've been encoding my DVD rips to .mov format to my mac so that I can play them back quickly and yada yada yada...

However, some of the files when imported into Streamclip twitch. As in, the go forward two frames then back one. It makes the whole thing really annoying. The twitching only occurs on the beginning parts of some of the DVD rips. I've looked all over the internet and I can't find an answer anywhere. So I just joined in hopes that someone will be able to help me out. The audio on those rips also is messed up. (It's off sync for some reason. I don't so much mind the audio issue but the twitching is just unbearable.)

If you can help I thank you greatly ;D

Used MacTheRipper to obtain VOBs (Not sure if that effects anything)

Yes it does. Which Version of MTR are you using?
the latest is MTR 3.0r14m, which handles most of the newer
    copyguard schemes.

also when importing into MpegStreamclip after ripping with the newest MTR,
are you "Fixing the TimeCode Breaks" that often occur with ArCCos
copy protected DVDs? if not you should as that will smooth out
playback so that MpegStreamclip knows how the video should
be played back ( linear wise).

As an alternative, ffmpegx can transcode the Video_TS file to .mov. Let me know if you need some sample settings.
