I capture and edit video in Pinnacle's Studio DV 7. Up til now I have had no trouble using TMPGenc to convert the AVI files to MPG files.
I just tried LSX for the first time and it pops up with "Audio stream has unspported format or compression type, The program supports only PCM audio format with sample rates 11025, 22050, 44100, 48000 Hz."
It looks like my Studio DV is set up to capture using 48000Hz audio but I still can't open the captured AVIs in LSX. My edit settings in Studio DV were set to 32K Hz and I changed that to 48K and re-created an AVI and that did open in LSX.
Why is LSX not as flexible in TMPGenc reading different audio bit rates? And I'm not sure why it couldn't open the captured AVI, unless it isn't really 48K.
I'd appreciate any feedback.
