  1. I have a movie(avi) that plays perfectly. I tried encoding it to a mpeg1 vcd file using many programs such as Xing Mpeg, LSX Mpeg, bbmpeg, TMPEGenc, and a few others, but all of them would complain about some wrong format. I got around to trying Panasonic Mpeg Encoder and it worked great except that the audio would slowly get out of sync with the video. Then I tried avi2vcd v.4 and it suggested that I should decompress the audio. So I did, but all the programs I've mentioned do not want to encode it.

I cant find anymore mpeg encoders on the net, so Im stuck. Any suggestions? I'm stuck in the mud w/o a rope.

  3. Extract the audio as a WAV file with VIRTUALDUB then use as the audio source using TMPGE.
