so i normally rip dvds and encode them into xvid. and stream them to my tvs threwout the house using my 360's im kinda picky of how i like my files to be. so i try to have them all the same size if its a series tv show.
my problem is if i encode the file using autogk it doesnt come out to the size i want.
if i use avidemux it comes out to the size i want. but it looses like a min of video which makes the audio out of sync.
basicly if i load the ifo file into autogk, it tells me the ep is 23 min long, when i load the vobs into avidemux and it indexes the mpegs. it comes out to 22 min long. why is this?
what can you do to allow avidemux to see the whole file? or is that just how it is?
has anyone else has this problem?
ive tried using Avi-Mux-Gui which works pretty good most the time. but from messing around with it after ive encoded a file with avidemux i can get one part of the audio in sync but another part is out of sync.
not sure if this is the right place to put this post. but any help would be appresated.
