OK, still working on this video using Windows Movie Maker. Imported my audio, now I am putting in my pictures and they are blurry. These are not blurry when just viewing them normally. I have switched the settings from 16:9 and 4:3 and back with no change. I have decreased the size of my pictures by %. I have cropped my 4x6 pics to 6x4 and still no change. They are saved as jpg pictures and I have even changed to bmp. Any help??????

Offhand, a few possible reasons come to mind: low pixel resolution, compression from the WMV codec, interlacing issues (if doing an export to DV-AVI), or low bitrate at the DVD encode stage (if you ever got that far). Hard to diagnose with the little info you provided.

Also, could you re-title your topic heading to something more directly related to the issue than, "HELP, Quick Please!" ?

Note too that NOBODY here is getting paid for helping you, so YOUR emergency is not our emergency. The more you seem to be in a panic when you post, the less likely people here actually are to help you. That's just how it works out.

Are you trying to make some kind of slide show with audio?

  4. Is your project for streaming, DVD or presentation?
If streaming then in WMM output 640x480 and select 1500kbps.BTWnly use 16:9 if the photos are 16:9.
If DVD then use DVD Slideshow GUI .
    If presentation then use PowerPoint.

BLSAMPLES, in the future please use a more descriptive subject title in your posts to allow others to search for similar topics. I will change yours this time. From our rules:

Sorry if I offended anyone, I was just hoping to get a quick response. I appreciate everyone's help. I did not get far enough to actually export. My pictures are sized 54x36 with 72 pixels but as I said earlier I have sized them in increments all the way down to 4x6 100 pixels with same issue. It is for making a DVD. I had to pull the audio from a digital camcorder, finally figured that out. I don't know what other information I can include, but my pictures are blurry when just previewing my video. Thanks again for your help and once again, sorry if I offended anyone, I was just really needing help quick.
    thanks

What is the original size of your pictures? Please tell me they are not sized 54x36. If you're taking a 54x36 picture and scaling it up it is going to be blurry. The bigger you scale it (or the bigger TV you view it on) the blurrier the picture is going to be. Ideally you would start with a picture resolution equal to or greater than your video resolution, then scale the picture down to fit. Don't scale it down, then back up, as scaling down loses detail permanently. Keep the resizing to a minimum by only scaling it once, and only scaling down, if at all possible.

Without more information, this is the best info I can give.
