i got a vcd witch the mpegs play fine, but when i try to merge the 2 files together with TMPGEnc it's saying that one of the files isn't a mpeg. what is wrong and how can i fix it.

  2. I too have this problem with one of my Mpeg files.

The thing is, i can burn it onto a vcd in nero if i turn standard comliance off, but it is very annoying because i have to use 2 cds instead of being able to merge them in TMPGenc.

Does anyone know a program that would merge a non-standard vcd?

Or a solution so i can merge them in TMPGenc???

    Thanks

If the second half is different in anyway to the first, then the merge/split tools wont work.

You will need to use TMPGenc to convert part 1 into a VCD Mpeg, and do the same for part 2, then you can join/split them.

  5. Use Bitrate Viewer to find out what is different between these to files first and then fix whatever needs to be fixed in one of them
