    I don't know if anyone else had noticed this, but it sounds to me that video with mono AAC-HE audio sound noticeably better at 32kbps vs 64kbps (less muffled and low hum). Strange but great for highly compressed media try it yourself.

    I've never noticed , but if you are using xvid4psp, it hasn't been updated to the most recent neroaac version; maybe that is a contributing factor?
