    Hi

    To play a data DVD containing a dv file or files which player do I require :

    Dvix capable or AVCHD ?

    Keep seeing AVCHD capable players....

  2. DV as in mini DV camcorder transferred to the computer as DV AVI? I don't know of any standalone player that plays that.

  3. WMP supports DV-AVI.
    Use MediaInfo on the files.

  4. I assumed he meant a standalone player like the Philips Divx/DVD players or the WDTV. Just about every media player for Windows will play DV AVI.

    I assumed a software player because wahsac posted the topic in DVD/BD Writers.
    My suggestion about MediaInfo still stands.
