In Uk, I may aswell buy a NTSC camera as its cheeper than a PAL right ?

Hi,

I'm about to buy a new video camera,

People have said i need to get a PAL camera because i am in the UK but i dont really see why so please correct me if i'm wrong ?

I dont have a tv or dvd player let alone a vhs machine..

I will be using it firstly to shoot movies for website's which i transfer to my computer, edit & save as wmv's

If i do make a dvd with it it will be sold mostly to guys in the USA, & there is the fact that i heard a few people say here "most PAL players player NTSC" but not the other way around..

& also there is software that convirts it if i really wantet to is there not ?

I will order camera from the US as it is cheeper for me. the NTSC is cheeper still than the PAL version ( both from US )

So it makes more sence to get an NTSC right ?

Or have i missed something ?

The camera is Canon HV40 Vixia ( NTSC ) or Legria ( PAL )

BTW cheeper is spelt "cheaper" and sence is spelt "sense" and convirts is spelt "converts" and wantet is spelt "wanted".
