    IMO, the main reason to deal with "24P" is if you need to distribute for NTSC and PAL release. I don't think it has anything to do with "film look"

    So for mostly-outdoor, almost always moving with near-to-distant subjects (whether on tripod or handheld) footage, 60i is going to do the job just fine and I won't be sacrificing severe amounts of quality?

  3. 60i gives you more frames per second than 24p and will result in a better video for the events you list.

    Awesome, well hopefully I'm on the right track and everything goes smoothly so I can finally really get some enjoyable footage out of this thing!
