After I capture off the HV20 the files are in m2t. I wish to play these files in Media Player Classic with ffdshow in order to deinterlace it. However ffdshow doesn't seem to be enabled when I play them (no icon in task bar). Anyone knows why?

Enable MPEG2 decoding (set to libavcodec) in the configuration. You may need a directshow transport stream splitter like haali media splitter
