    Hey!

I am running vista home 64 bit.

I installed 2 weeks ago on a new laptop. I had to change check the tick box under properties to run as admin in order to install/activate the instalation. That day everything worked great.. I was able to successfully make a disk.

    New issue..

I open via the shortcut and the EXE and it opens to the program but immediatly closes. I checked to see if the tick box for run as admin was still checked and it wasn't. It now is but I am having the same problem.

Thank you in advance for your help ChrissyBoy. This is a great Application you have here!

hi delete the svcd2dvd short cut on your desktop. go to the folder you installed svcd2dvd and send a new short cut from there back to your desktop this should sort out the problem. you may have updated to sp2 which seems to mess up the original short cut properties. hope this helps

I would assume this is not a shortcut issue as the program opens and closes (crashes) right away. Besides you dont ammend the shortcut to run as admin but the EXE in the installed directory! This issue happens when i open directly from the EXE as well!

I reinstalled the application to the DEFAULT DIRECTORY as i was impatient. It is working fine again. I hate doing that as I like to actually fix what the problem is to avoid reinstalling.

All good for now Chrissyboy, so for being impatient!
