  1. I've kind of given up on Blu-Ray Iso's for the moment and decided to stick with just the m2ts files till I understand a little more. Anyway. I have some Blu-rays in file mode. I changed the main movie from m2ts to Mpeg which allows me to play the file in mce2005. Seems as if its not as clear as if I run the same file through Powerdvd in file mode. Is this a codec issue? I seem to have more of a interlaceling issue when motion is increased in the video playing from MCE2005 than in Powerdvd....Playing in Mce seems to better than Powerdvd when it comes to fast forwarding and switching files at will so I choose Mce..I do have the powerdvd app installed but that only closes mce and starts up the Powerdvd. Seems like whenever I want something technology has not caught up with my imagination yet or I'm ignorant on things....lol...

BTW-I have tried 5 different versions of Powerdvd in ISO mode. I still can not get more than 2 Blu-Rays ISO's to play succesfully out of 5..Friggin The Dark Night is all choppy....Arrgh!

Well your hardware looks capable, just make sure you have the latest gfx driver, hardware acceleration selected, and your HDD defragmented and not a bunch of programs running in the background

  6. Yeah! This is just for media center. Movies only. Im not downloading or surfing the web or anything. Just playing movies to the big screen..Lol...The only apps that are running are those required for playing movies.Even when I'm backing up I do that at times when I'm not planning on watching anything....What I was looking at was my picture clairity..I look and look at the same clips from the same movies and It is interlacing lines when I play a M2ts file in media center vs. Powerdvd. Powerdvd is crystal clear no lines at all. I have renamed the files to Mpeg in order to play in media center but in media center whatever player it is useing does cost me in quality.....
