I want to create high quality DVD. I export as 1080i 30p. What kind of setting should I use in premiere pro if I export as 264h quicktime format??

dvd as in dvd that plays on a standard dvd standalone player? if so you can only encode to mpeg-2 720x480.

If you intend to make a real DVD that will play in a DVD player you need to do several steps.
Set up a 1440x1080p 29.97fps custom template.
Import and edit your clips
Resize to 720x480p, 29.97fps
Encode to 720x480i, 29.97fps
Author your DVD.
Quicktime h.264 is not playable on a DVD player.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

"1080i 30p" which is it - interlaced or progressive? you list both.

I think he means 30p mode which is sent as separate fields and appears as 1080i when sent through IEEE-1394. This is normal since 30p is not directly supported. It must be disguised as 1080i. Similar dance for telecined 24p.
