  1. Hello,
I have a 3.1gb .avi file on on my SD card that I can't seem to transfer to my hard drive. All other pictures and a smaller .avi file transferred just fine. I have plenty of room on my hard drive - NTFS.

Any idea what could be going on?

  2. any error message? was the card formatted on the computer or by the cam? fat/fat16/fat32? is the card in the cam or a card reader in the comp? can you play the file while it's on the sd card?

  3. No error message, Windows scanner says it can't transfer and asks me if I want to try again, still didn't work. I can't seem to find which FAT it is. Straight from the camera, my card reader doesn't read above 2gb. The movie plays fine on the camera. Thanks for your prompt reply!

is this a video of you playing a really long song? inagadadavida?

there's a hotfix form ms for reading some sdhc cards but i think it's for readers in the comp. can't hurt to try though.

  5. Yes, Iron Butterfly! 8) It's a Canon G9. No, It's a 56 minute long file of a concert I went to last night. I'll probably break down and buy a better card reader and try the hotfix. I'll keep you posted. Thanks!
