  1. I have
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    AE CS3
    Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0

    My system:
    AMD Phenom 8450 Triple Core
    2 GB of Ram
    GeForce 9600 GT 512MB
    Plenty of HD space

When I use it in Vegas and hit the EDIT button it gives me '...an Open Gl error occured while attempting to load the frame (Fragment shader at -1

I'm not sure why it won't work. The tutorial video on Red Giants site looked like it was an easy to use color corrector but if I can't get it to work on ANY of the NLE's then I'm open to other suggestions as far as color correction software goes.

First though, any thoughts on why this is happening?

I should mention that after pushing the EDIT button multiple times I sometimes get a frame to work with. The effect looks as though it's been applied but when rendering it doesn't and the image is all black or red. I also tried TOON IT from Red Giant Software and couldn't get it to work. I've tried their support but they aren't good with getting back to people it seems.

Vegas : Red Giant only supports Vegas Pro, not Platinum, and only for Magic Bullet Looks 1.2 and Quick Looks 1.2. Also, Quick Looks is supported in Vegas Pro 8, and Look sin 7 and 8. 9 is not officially supported.

The Magic Bullet Suite 2008 product isn't supported in Vegas at all.

Premiere Pro is supported in Version 2, CS3 and CS4. After Effects is supported fully for CS3 and CS4 (Windows only - CS3 for Mac) and partially for version 7.

You don't say which version of Premiere Pro you are using, or what problems you are having with Premiere or After Effects.

  3. I have Premier Pro CS3 and a trial version of After Effects CS4.

What is happening is when I try to apply the color correction of Looks to video, it will not open the 'looks builder' due to an Open GL error. After several attempts of clicking the edit button it WILL open the builder and while the first frame of the footage has the filter/effects applied, the rest is black or red only (No video). When rendering, it renders it all blank.

I asked a friend to try it with After Effects CS3 and he has the trial working fine.

Open GL is most likely a video driver issue. I would start by updating your video drivers

  7. Did a read through.

I don't have any graphics applications running at the same time. The Nvidia panel doesn't load on start up. I start the application myself when needed. Still not having any success.
