extracting 2 dvd contents to burn to single DVD

I have a recording of a family members wedding stretched over 2 DVDs (as given to me by the videographer). I wish to extract the contents tif both DVD and compress the two DVD contnt to a single DVD as losslessly as possibly. Which tool can i use

can i do this with Nero as i own Nero

I think it's possible with the included Nero Recode. Or else can you use dvd shrink in the reauthoring mode to join two dvds and shrink. You will lose the menus though.

If you would like to keep menus use DVDremake Pro to join and then dvd shrink to shrink.
