I would like to know what is the loss of a dts 760k a mp3 320k or aac 256k

    What MP3 player ?
    What headphones ?
How do you compare these to your DTS audio ?
What was the quality of the source ?
    How was it converted ?

I wouldn't be surprised if the difference is harder to notice on a set of PC speakers. Unless they are very high end, most PC speakers are not the best for listening to quality sound.

However if you cannot hear the difference between DTS and 320 kbps MP3 or DTS and 256 kbps AAC then either your equipment is substandard, or you have had the volume on your MP3 player up too loud for too long.
