    This is just plain madness. I took some video Footage on my Sony Cybershot Camera and for some reason Quicktime Pro cannot edit the video footage. Can anyone here advise me why this is happening.

  2. a couple things. try to be more patient, there are only 4 registered users online right now and it could be none of us are mac users. which brings up the second suggestion. post mac questions in the mac forum and you have a better chance of a mac user noticing your post.

    it is a strange size for mpeg-1 and vbr to boot. usually it's seen as 352x240 cbr and mainly used for vcds.

    convert to a different format, maybe a lossless intermediate?
