So, pretty self explanitory.
I have my XBOX hooked up to my Acer 22" which has only 2 connections on the back, DVI and VGA
and of course my Xbox takes up the VGA, while DVI is monitor.
How could i capture my gameplay on my 360 and save it to my computer?
possible? expensive? eithe way i'd love to know.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

You need a capture card that you can connect the Xbox to, and use this. The monitor or TV side of things really has no bearing, as neither are are actually part of the capture process, but just a method of seeing what is happening.
One thing to note : many people report issues trying to capture from consoles. These issues range from the odd output methods of some games (PAL60, for example), and the delay introduced by having a capture card in the mix can make actual game play difficult. Also, you would be playing in the preview window, not fullscreen.
If you want to play fullscreen then I would suggest some form of splitter that would allow you to connect to a TV for gameplay, and also to your computer (and a capture card - you would still need one of those) for capture. This would remove the delay issue and allow you to play more comfortablyRead my blog here.

In your particular configuration, there is no easy way to capture VGA.
