So, I know that doing the full movie mode results in the Disc being unable to play on a PS3 or another standalone player because of the index file being incorrect. I also tried that patcher program, and that worked one time, and since then just gives me an incorrect file or something to that effect. Even tried 1.5 of the patcher, that does not work either. 1.4, you cannot get anymore.

So, I figure, well if the newest version of BD Rebuilder is having issues, then why not go back to an older version, when both the movie only mode and full mode worked. I think the movie mode still works now, but i want the full mode. I downloaded an older version of BD Rebuilder, and it will not run. Just says this is a beta version and has expired. Any way to get an older version to run?

I would try another program, but I dont know of any that will take the whole blu-ray rip, and downsize down to DVD-9.

    thanks

If there are any Blu-ray Disc Java Object files in the BDJO foler then the PS3 will not play a DB9. But the same files burned to a BD-RE/R will play fine. The DB9 disc will play OK on my Philips Blu-ray player. It seems the PS3 is the culprit, not BD-Rebuilder.

I'll PM you with Patcher v4 which works when v5 doesn't. But it will not solve the above problem.

Thank you very much for the v4, i greatly appreciate it.

On a related note, I think i may be doing something wrong, and i need some help. When applying this patch, you apply it to the BluRay rip, and not the AVCHD structure that BD Rebuilder builds, right?

I have been running everything through BD Rebuilder, and then applying the patch to those, and I think that is wrong. If so, shame on me for not reading everything correctly.

not 100% certain but I don't think it matters, BD Rebuilders output is BD compliant
