  1. I use DVDFab 6.0.22 to split DVD 9 in 2 DVD-R.
But the last 2 times, the results are that, on the main movie, after one scenes ends the next scenes doesn't follow. Instead of that, the movie goes back to the first scenes and movies starts over an over. I ended up watching the movie pressing each scene nombuer form the player remote control (very annoying)
I did other movies with DVDFab wiht no trouble, but now I do not know what to do. Perhaps I touched something in the DVDFab software, but I am not sure.
    Any clue, help or opinion?.
    Thanks.

  2. I am not an expert. Some of these suggestion and questions may or not be needed to help solve your problem.

    1. Did you use Split or Customize Split?
    2. Did you change anything like the files that were checked, time start ending, menus etc.
    3. Is the main movie all on one disc and the extras on another?
    4. If main movie is spread across both DVD5's, then did the problem occur on both DVD5's?
    5. Was there more than 1 angle?
6..You can click the green check mark top right and click default setting ok and restart.
Note if you had previously changed the default General settings for output directory and temp directory you may need to change them back to what you used before.
    7. If you put the DVD5 in to your computer DVD drive and use a software player does the problem occur?
    8. Have you tried to play again the previously created split DVD's that played ok before?
    8. I am not too familiar with a lot of standalone players. Could there be a repeat enables selection enabled on the payer general settings that's causing the problem? I assume you selected play movie from the menu and not from the chapter menu.

BTW I like to create iso files and open them in a virtual drive before burning.. I check playback menus, chapter transition, audio(s), angle(s), and subtitle(s) if present with Nero Showtime and or CyberLink PowerDVD 9. Those software players represent a more realistic representation of how the DVD would play in a standalone player than VLC would but not always.

If the problem also occurs with one of the 2 software players above. You could also use PgcEdit to trace playback order of the DVD5's . If you haven't used that there is a learning curve.
