    I am confronted with a DLC file. Is there any way to convert this to AVI? MPEG2? . . .Thanks

    I hadn't heard or read about DLC files until today...

    Encrypted container format used for storing downloadable content; uses client-server encryption in which links are processed locally and keys are distributed and recrypted by a Web service; can be processed by JDownloader, a Java-based download management program.

  3. dlc files are mainly used if you want to hide the online urls for thm.

    ex: lets say you have something up on rapidshare. You used winrar so it is now 49 archives. If you wanted to share these 49 links without posting the direct urls somewhere you would use a .dlc file.

    You would open this in the program jdownloader (which is amazing) and input this (under link grabber/add container). This will see all of the links for you and make sure they are still up and then you download from there
