Hi,
I received several of DVD-Rs that when I try to play on my both DVD players I receive a disk error message. I looked at the disk in windows explorer and did find a VIDEO_TS folder and was able to double click on the .VOB file and play it using Nero Essentials. I ran Nero Info Tool on the disk and it says it is NTSC 4:3 (MPEG 2, 720 x 480) so it is not in the PAL format. I also I just checked one of the disks with IMgBurn. (See below)
The region says all and I'm in the US so that shoudn't be a problem. I'm wondering if the disks were never finalized. If so, can I somehow salvage the files and burn a DVD-R that can be viewed on a DVD player using ImgBurn or DVD Decryptor or perhaps Nero?
Thanks,
Here is ImgBurn report on it:

if they weren't finalized you most likely wouldn't be able to read anything on them. you might try copying the video_ts folder to your hard drive and letting imgburn build and burn a new dvdr for you from a brand you know plays on your standalone.
and welcome to the forum. -

I did get it to work with Img Burn by copying the VIDEO_TS folder and using the Build mode.
I do have one other DVD-R that has a VIDEO_RM folder as well as a VIDEO_TS folder. Do I only need to copy the VIDEO_TS folder?
Also, would this work using a regular disk copy procedure in ImgBurn?
