I'm looking for an external USB device that I can use to convert VHS as well as have DVR capabilities. From past experience I know that important to me are standard compatibility and the amount of support available (not necessarily from the vendor).
There are so many choices in my budget of under $100, is the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-950Q a good choice?
P4 2.8
1.5 gig ram
Radeon HD4350

No, I would advise against this particular card.
