1: Files downloaded from the net must be completely downloaded
2: You then need to determine what the file is exactly in order to know which application is the most appropriate ... some aren't.

Use gspot or mediainfo on the video to determine what it is ... the term "avi" dose not give enough information to solve problems.

In virtualdub, in order to apply video filters the video requires recompression ... audio may be "direct stream copy" as this is not changed.

Ok noticed that Dub won t run wmv or video_TS videos can i fix that or use other software to improve the view. Seems like dub is mostly for Avi and videos close to that, can t be sure all works until after dub has finshed right ? then save to a folder as usual right - and then watch it and see if its improve right ? - later and whats this weird error about " MPEG import filter invalid pack at position three bit not set possibly MPEG - 2 stream " ! ? bye for now . .

You can add plugins to get wmv and vob/mpeg2 import support, http://home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/index.html

In Explorer: Go to the folder where you want to create a new (sub)folder. In the window, right-click, then select New, then Folder. A new folder will be created, and you'll be prompted to name it.
