I need to convert a .dts file from 25fps to 23.976. I tried using besweet but keep getting error messages.
It is a 7 ch .dts file, is that a problem?
Im trying to convert a .dts file from 25fps > 23.976 using besweet.
Settings:
Besweet
- Use dts decoder azidts
- Pal 25 > 23.976
- Output PCM Wav
AC3/OGG/PCM
- Wav 16bit 6 mono files
But I get a DshowERR, FAILED IN CREATEFILTER Message and the sweetlog file is empty...
Get the same results for .dts to .ac3 ERROR...

Ok trying ea3to for ac3 and dts.
Creating an .ac3 file always produces a msg "clipping detected, a 2nd pass will be necessary"
And, "Sonic decoders don't seem to work, will use Libav"
Why does this not produce a single .dts file, instead of 6 wav files?
"eac3to.exe" "track_2.dts" "FIX.dts" -down6 -slowdown ( Its a 7ch .dts file) -
Take a look at the OP of this thread
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966
Unless you have a dts encoder,
"eac3to source.dts target.ac3 -slowdown" is the right command for your need.
You don't need -down6 option 'cause it is automatically taken care of and you can safely ignore other error messages. -

Which download do I need, they have so many?

Thats what happens when you use pirated software 8)
******* released this on 02/22/01 as retail, but was useless since the
dongle protecion was not removed : If you try to Encode with it you will
get a "Parallel port" error. -
Well thanks for that note...I will ask for a refund from where I got it...

This works! Iv'e had problems in the past using eac3to, but I guess it depends on the source
I dont know why it always has to do a second pass (Clipping detected).?
Now I will try
Eac3to (.dts > .dts) eac3to source.dts target.dts -slowdown (which will produce 6 wav files)
That I will try to load into SurCode DVD PRO 1.0.21 & soft encode to see what kind of results I get...
THANKS GENTS
