Hello, I found some old VHS (10-15 year old) and started to capture with my Pinnacle 710 USB.
The problem is the quality of the VHS, the images "shakes" a lot (not because of the recoring but because of the old VHS).
Is there a software to improve this?

    Thank you!

well, you could try stacking the images on top of each other with the deshaker filter for virtualdub
or buy a better player with a built-in TBC

Your problem might be your VCR. Many of them made since 2005 are very poor at playing recordings they did not make, especially EP recordings.

For a cheap hardware solution, try borrowing a 10 year old unit. Quasar and Sharp are not hard to find and both tend to track and stabalize old recordings well. 20 to 25 bucks is what I have paid for them at Goodwill stores in central Illinois....3 days to test and return for full refund.

I downloaded deshaker and copied it to the plugins folder. but when I try to add the filter (I have to click on load because it does not appear) it says it's not a valid win32 application. Is there something missing?
I run vista 64 bits and downloaded virtualdub 1.9.3 64bits

    thanks!
