  1. So I was hoping to d/l some streaming Flash video to my Mac but it's just not happening. There stream is masked behind some code so you cannot get to the url of the .flv file? I have triad Activity Viewer on the mac but that not picking up the URL code.

    My question to you is:

Is there a URL Finder tool I could use on the mac to find the .flv Url code, any help advise welcome.

The URL of the streaming Video is: http://drivers-republic.com/dr_tv/index.cfm?videoid=b9ac81315c7446efab6a90677eeeab69&area=videos

Nope, you wont find the url. It's probably a rtmp streaming flash or similar. You need to use something Replay Media Catcher if you want to download(but only available for windows).

edit: Yep, replay downloaded the file fine.

wow...just simply stripping the embed source:
    http://drivers-republic.com/flash/flv_tv.swf?flvSource=2ncvznzhyxdgqroccp8z641a.flv
enabled me to use iShowU to capture it in FullScreen.

Also, put it into Firefox 3, Downloadhelper doesn't recognize it, probably
because it is calling SWF ( shockwave Player) first to then play the video.

MpegStreamclip and Quicktime both say invalid URL.
However, Safari 4 was able to download the SWF from
the Activity Window ( took out of Safari's Cache) and
I was able to play it then FS with Adobe Flash CS3.
