    My Sony camcorder CCD-TR705 has failed me and I have a possible acces to a CCD-TRV95 instead. Anyone know what the difference between the 2 is? I cannot fins anything on the net ie manuals etc. I guess the 95 will still play my Hi8 tapes?

    Yes, will play Video8 and Hi8 tapes.

    No. CCD-TRV95 has everything you want from Hi8 camcoreder, TBC, DNR and even Hi8 XR suport.
