    Hi,

I want to create a CD of design images, with numbers, I have more than 1000 images,
How can I add numbering to the images to identify my clients requirement.

Also I need to put a watermark of my company details (name, tel no.)

    Thank you.

For filenaming, I'd use a batch renamer, like http://www.1-4a.com/rename/download.htm. It will easily create sequentially-numbered files.

For watermarks/bugs, I'd use an avisynth script, or a batch file encoder like procoder.

Just about any slideshow tool will do what you want. These tools can create Photo CDs, VCDs, DVDs, and auto run PC CDs.

Give Picasa a shot if you don't already have an image editing suite installed. Its free and basic, but will do what you asked for in the post.

ACDSee is a product I used years ago that was quite good, and priced right. We used ACDSee to create photo catalogs on PC CD, and VCD, as well as shipping to the print house.
Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.
