Alright I have an uncompressed file .avi with a FPS1 codec (basically raw footage from FRAPS) but it was recorded in a windowed mode in 1232x988 and I cannot seem to encode it into something where it retains the quality and compresses it down.
Vegas and Videodub just refuse the file and I could not get TMPG Encoder to put it out in some reasonable resolution.
I'm pretty much clueless about this (hence this section of the forums ^^) so what can I do to make this 30sec and 1GB sized file a bit smaller? :
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You need a VFW FPS1 decoder to use VirtualDub (probably Vegas too). Try ffdshow.
