    Hi guys,

    I have the following problem.
I demuxed a mkv file (because I wanted to add an ac3-Stream for compatibility reasons).
For the demuxing I used MKVEWizard. With the original MKV file every information about the streams was shown in the MKVEWizard.

After I muxed the files (h264, dts, ac3) with mmg (mkvmerge-gui) I cannot see any information when I open it with MKVEWizard.
It doesn't even show a stream....
What I'm doing wrong? Do I have to use another program for muxing?

Muxing mkv is not blu-ray authoring. Moving you.

Do you see the streams if you open the mkv with mkvmerge again? mkvewizard is a bit old.

Sorry I thought muxing belongs to authoring...

Yes, I can see the streams in mmg, but not the detailed inforamtion that was shown in mkvewizard.
Is it possible that this info comes from a tag that was added to the original file?

I guess you have to add such information manually in mmg under the general track options tab.

  5. With MkvMerge you have to ADD video info, then use MediaInfo to view all of the attributes...
