  1. I burned Shrek on a VCD, but when i play it, it plays full screen with the left and right side being cut off a little, so i'm not getting the whole picture. I was wondering if i could add the top margins so that i could see everything. When i play the mpg file in the computer, it looks fine. Is there a way to add the margins with Nero?

  2. The issue of TV cropping has been explained here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/mpeg_still_images.html#tv_cropping

If you want to add a border around your video (not really necessary in my opinion as films will have been shot in such a way so that no important detail is on the edges on a movie), you will have to do it either before encoding and during encoding to MPEG. There is no way of doing this on your existing MPEG without re-encoding it.

TMPGEnc has options to add a border to your video when it encodes it.
