I am new and need help.
I just purchased a Panasonic DVD/VCR combo machine that records.
The Panasonic DVD VCR Combo yields a pattern effect while recording, while both TV and Combo machine is set to channel 3.
I was told by Panasonic to set the TV to channel 4, and the machine to channel 3 when both playing and recording.
Once this is done, the pattern effect goes away.
Afterwards, when all is shut down, everything needs to be reset because you will then see and hear noisy snow on the TV screen.
It's confusing to switch back while not recording. It's also laborious and it takes the ease out of using the machine.
Please reply with suggestions to get around this and without making all the fussy changes? Is there a filter that can be installed before the coaxial cable
goes in and out of the machine.
Panasonic suggested to only use RCA cables. But the same pattern effect displays on the screen.
Would an "S" cable help?
