I was having no problems with BD Rebuilder. I had made backups of all three X-Men and Pirates. Then I went to make backups of a few more and now all I am getting is encoding failures. I have tried going to a newer version and have also tried older versions, all with the same results. I don't know what happened. Anyone else having these problems? I am trying to shrink these down to fit on a 25GB disc. I didn't change any settings, so I am at a loss for whats going on.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

i am also having problems tring to fit some new titles onto a 25g disc has any got any solutions
-
have you tried the new fab dvd 6.2.20 for taken and casino royal
-
Taken and Curious Case of Benjamin Button, use movie only back-up. And on Taken make sure you have eng subtitles selected and uncheck the keep only one subtitle for each language box. Otherwise towards the end of the movie you will not know what the foreign people are saying, unless you are fimiliar with the language they are speaking.

I'm using the paid versions, so that may or may not make a difference. -
I'm trying to make full movie backups of all these. Will fab dvd 6.2.20 do that?
-
i have just backed up benjamin button to a 50g disc with fab 6.0.2.2 it decrypts at the same time but will not shrink to 25g yet. dont have any dvd running at the same time

It lookks like bd rebuilder is the only tool that will do it? I will try to keep tweeking the settings to get these others to compress.

does anyone know of another program like BD Rebuilder or is that it? I just had Batman Begins fail on me. It said the x264.exe had stopped working.

I don't understand what x264 encoder does. All I want to do is run BD Rebuilder and have it work. Do I download it and it automatically gets chosen by BD Rebuilder?
-
x264 is one of the tools that is downloaded when you download BD Rebuilder. But you can also download the latest release of x264 and replace the one that was downloaded with BD Rebuilder. Download x264 then open the BD Rebuilder folder. You will see a tools folder, open it. Then drag your new downloaded x264 file into the tools folder. Windows will ask you if you want to copy and replace your new file over your old file. Click on the yes button. Now BD Rebuilder will use the lastest version of x264.

I'll give that a try. Thanks! One other question. It doesn't fit the theme but I dont want to open a new thread. Do you know why Quantum of Solace will not even play on my PC BR Player? It doesn't even recognize it. I looked for a firmware version upgrade and it says it is up to date.
-
Not really sure why Quantum of Solace is not recognized. What is your bd drive and software player? I had no problem backing up my disc.

Hi.. My problem with BD-Rebuilder is Result are Out Of Synch.. SUCKER PUNCH, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, FIGHT CLUB, PLATOON, THE THIN RED LINE, STAR WARS TRILOGY (first and second) are the titles so far.. Very annoying actually.. After waiting for long time result is full dissapointment.. Any of you people having this sort of problem..? Any help will be appreciated.. Thank You..

@ se7ennio:
1) Have you ever successfully re-encoded a Blu-Ray with BDRB? If not, your configuration is probably wrong. Run inspect.exe from the BDRB folder and post the report here.
2) Dunno about most of those movies, but at least 2 have newish copy protection and complex java menus (Star Wars). You may want to be sure your decrypter is up to date and try again. I got the Star Wars Blu-Rays on the day of release and DVDFab couldn't rip a clean copy that BDRB could re-encode correctly. So I ran DVDFabPasskey in the background and extracted main movie with Clown_BD, which works fine. Then I ran them through BDRB, no problem.Pull! Bang! Darn! -
Yes, i did re-encoded so manytitles already.. Only those which i wrote befoe wasn't successful.. I'm also using DVDFab instead.. From this day on i'll try new version of BD-Rebuilder.. I'll give you the result asap.. Thanks anyway.
