    I was working with canopus edius which has convenient feature that is effect called regional picture control. You can for example blur just part of the picture and leave the rest how it was or apply some other effect like levels or brithnes control just on one part of the picture. For example you can blur just somebody’s face and not the rest of the picture. How can I do that in adobe premiere.

  2. One way would be using a track matte. Search google or youtube there should be many video tutorials on how to do this

    You could also do this in layers (apply the effect to different layer), or use the transfer modes of different layers, or use masks

    I got back to Canopus Edius . It is much better for those kind of things.
