    Hi all,
i want to encode subtitle into MP4 video file from command line program, without changing video and audio. I used mencoder.exe, but I can not set the appropriate command line options and output file is always done with changed resolution. Can anyone help me with settings or suggest another command line program ?

    Thank You.

I guess you want burned in subtitles? If not then mux the subs in the mp4 using mp4box.

    Hi Baldrick,
yes I want burned in subtitles, not to mux them. I need only the basic option for mencoder to burn in subtitle without change the video/audio quality.

    Thank You.

It's not possible to burn-in subtitles without re-encoding - and every re-encoding causes quality loss, so you can't do it without some change in the quality.

So you are okey with reencoding? or else it's not possible.

Just set the resolution to the same size as the source?
