    WinZip is noticed for compressing JPEG files. Even though I'm sure WinRAR does the same without any loss of quality.

    I use 7zip, as I compress lots of text. I do have a Winrar license, but haven't had it installed for about a year. I probably will reinstall Winrar when I get back to ripping the rest of my CD collection. It is a nice way to keep music organized. Pity the .9.x versions of foobar2k no longer supports reading of 7z archives.
