This question seems to be asked on a regular basis, but the answers never lead very far.

I would like to transcode videos (typically flv) to WMV9.

    1. The solution must function from the command line.
    2. Speed is important but not as important as (1)
    3. GPU accelerated encoders are a plus.

FFMPEG, Badaboom, and MEncoder don't support WMV9 afaik.

    WME doesn't support FLV sources.

    Super is buggy.

TMPGenc works, with commandline (which I haven't tested), but no GPU acceleration.

Any suggestions of a tool that could meet all three requirements?

    much appreciated!!

WME supports avisynth scripts. Use Avisynth to load your flv into WME. You may need to install FFDShow and use DirectSHowSource() to load the video.

    Thanks guys!

@Baldrick: is there technical reason standing in the way, or are there simply no solutions so far?
