What is wrong here? I encode a DivX movie with TMPGEnc using the correct template - if the movie fits on to one CD (which it normally doesn't) then I can just drag it into Nero (5.5.x.x) and burn a fully-functional VCD - HOWEVER - if I use the TMPGEnc-integrated mpeg splitter, then Nero complains about compatibility - if i switch off standard-compatibility then I get short bursts of sound and a sometimes jerky picture (unwatchable @ any rate) when I stick the VCD in my DVD Player :( I have tried one or two other proggys for splitting the Mpegs but the same problem occured - so now I have to RE-Encode the Mpegs (both of them seperately) to make Nero-compatible files!! This is time consuming and also causes a noticable amount of quality-loss ;( Can anyone tell me what I need to do to cut a VCD and still keep it Nero-Compatible??? PLEASE!?!?!?!?

When you cut your MPEGs, did you change the setting at the top from the default "Auto" to "MPEG-1 Video-CD"?
