  1. Hello, dear all.

    I have some doubts:

    1) how can I extract the audio from WMV ( Windos Media Video) files? Without convertion to other formats, I mean.

    2) After extracting the audio, do you know some program ( freeware or payware) able to convert wma files ( windows media audio) to mp3, for eample?

    Just like we can do using FLV Extract to flv files? Are there any similar program to wmv files?

    I know we can do things using virtualdub for AVI files ( when these have MP3 or WAV audio streams).

    ---> https://www.videohelp.com/tools/FLV_Extract

    Can you point me some programs or methods to do that? :P

    Thanks.

    avidemux, audio->demux or Windows Media Stream Editor, open wmv and select the audio stream, Add and Create File.

    Try convert using LameXP.

    Audacity 1.36 beta with ffmpeg and Lame installed should be able to open a .wmv file directly and convert the WMA to MP3.

    Can you point me some of them, please? Or, where to get them? :P

    PS: at first moment, I think AoA audio Extractor is the easiest way to do what I want. But, always is nice too know many other ways to get the same outputs.

    Thanks.

    You might notice that when someone mentions a popular piece of software like 'AVIDeMux' the name becomes a link to the software. Well actually to another page here at VideoHelp that links to the software.
